    hello
    im working on a 56 bayliner. it has the D2842 2 valve MAN. I need to install the inter coolers on top of the engine. the engine room does not have a crane. any suggestions other than man handling it up 5ft?

    It’s called a “come-along” mixed in with some wood beams or ??, over what you have to lift and applicable straps as needed.

    Can you give example of custom lifting gear?
    The engine room is tall. Im 6ft2 and can stand tall.

    It.s either custom lifting gear, pure grunt work or a combo of both.. At this point you are the only one that can “see” the situation..
