I have twin BTA 5.9 engines and the starboard side is still having an issue with white smoke.

In an effort to diagnose I have:

    1. Inspected the turbos
    2. Cleaned/serviced the aftercooler
    3. New air filter
    4. Installed a rebreather kit from Seaboard
    5. Verify oil level is not high

Question: What are my next steps in resolving this issue?

*Note: I am seeing more soot in the exhaust discharge water of the right engine that has the smoke issue

    Valve clearance check

The white smoke is at the dock at idle? cold? or at running speeds hot?

On that list you may add a valve clearance check/adjust if itĀ“s too long since the last one.
