Fresh water flush to SMX accessory

I’m looking to route freshwater flush line to the SMX water pump suction accessory port. I thought this port was 1/2″ but I found my 1/2″ elbow fitting was too big. Is this port 7/16″?

Suction side? – you plan to run the engine?

If memory serves those are 1/8″ npt ports. You have to remember that the nominal size of of npt fittings does not represent the O.D. You need to use the attached chart to identify. However, in time you will easily identify because there are only a few commonly used in what we do here.
