Exhaust tube replacement QSB 5.9

There are some cracks and splits in the first 12″ or so which I have wrapped and the insurance company wants to see it replaced. Providing the last 5 ‘ are in good condition do you think I can use a fiberglass sleeve and add on a new section for the first few feet??

Why is it cracking and splitting?  Could point to raw water supply problems, lack of support or vibration damping, or simply old age.     Your insurance company shouldn’t have to tell you when maintenance is due…

Do you really think helping will come without you posting very good pictures of what you are asking to be fixed, replaced, etc etc?
