    Hi I have had a 6bta rebuilt and want to drive it off the EGT

    Ccould someone please advise the best location for the probe

    High probability that it is there already.Ā  We have 2004 vintage 6CTA’s and they were conveniently on the top of the flange from an orientation perspective.Ā  I could not get the plugs to budge so I had our mechanic remove the plugs and then I did the install of the probe.Ā  Go take a look at the flange that mates the turbo out and the exhaust elbow.
