Cummins QSC 8.3 dieselview beeping after lcd repair

I have a bertram 410 with cummins QSC 8.3. The engine displays are dieselview. The displays were sun damaged and i took them to a local store where they repair the lcd screen (they dont replace the whole display, just the lcd screen inside). After they were repaired, i tried reconnecting them. One works fine, when I connect the second one, it starts beeping. It shows all information, i can turn the engines on without a problem. If I go to active alarms in the display with the problem it says No Active alarms. It just stays beeping. Please let me know if any of you has run into this issue before. Thanks so much!

problem solved

the tech was able to solve the problem today. turns out the connector had a pin that was not in the right place. that solved the problem. thanks for your help Tony!

Waited a bit to see if anyone else had this particular issue.. Nothing so far..

You are dealing with totally obsolete Mercury Outboard motor technology  that was adapted to modern diesel engines in the mid-90’s.. There is a reason I call it Mercury “SmartCrap”…………You are one of the few that still has anything that still works at all…………………….Lots of modern upgrades available..
