I noticed that some transmission coolers come with bonding wire studs. Is it helpful at all in slowing down corrosion to attach a bonding/ground wire?

Per your picture, the wet elbow is already grounded to the block by the bolts holding it to the turbo……………

Get back a few feet and let me “SEE” the entire wet elbow and its orientation.. Not sure how safe is is..

    ground or no?

I recently replaced the original trans coolers on my 2000 6CTA 8.3’s with new ones. The old ones didn’t have a ground post, and the new ones do. Should I ground them or not? If so, I’m assuming to one of the threaded bolt holes in the side of the block? What is the size and thread?

Also noticed what looks like a ground off the exhaust pictured. Again original 2000 and never grounded…

The idea is to keep the voltage potential of the housing at the same potential as the engine block..
