I have this same wetting on both of my engines and cannot locate the source. Has anyone seen this? I can’t seem to make my pictures small enough to post.

Check to make sure it is oil, it may be belt dust. I have noticed on ours we get a good bit of black in the area that is from the belt.

Are you sure it’s Oil? After 10-12 years it is fairly common for the thermostat housing seal to start to weep, looks like oil when mixed with belt dust.

Slight weep (sweat) of rocker cover gasket making it’s way down? Have you cleaned it all up and monitored it as to coming back?
