Just a cover plate & gasket.
As a side note, it would have saved a lot of time for all involved to post all at first instead of “bits & pieces” that had to to extracted as we moved fwd……

I just looked at the injection pump and it looks like the lift pump was bolted to the side of the injection pump. What would go where the cam driven pump would go? A cover plate?

My fuel filter doesnĀ“t come off the cylinder head like the one in the picture. My secondary fuel filter is mounted on the side of the engine block.

If you have EP9 ND pump, then you’ll use a lift pump like the one in your screen shot.. Very easy to sort out when the times.. The switch was about the end of year 1995-ish when they moved beyond the ND pump..
Plus, I am 99% sure, but I do not believe any of the 6BTA’s with the EP9 Pump was ever rated above 250 BHP at 2600 RPM (FR 9757) with 2725-2750 your target for propping. I believe that last one made had a CPL 1570..

That “old style” lift pump port IS NOT used on any of the 6BTA’s that have a BOSCH P7100 injection pump.. ……………… The lift pump is on the side of the P7100..
Merry X-mas to all—It’s a gorgeous day in Zip 93022, but far from a White X-mas something I have never seen !
