    Hi all,

I am servicing my 2 6BTA-5.9 370Hp motors in our Tiara and installing the SB fuel cooler delete kit.  Everything is just about going back together and have relocated the oil pressure sender into the engine block port per the instructions….BUT I have a second sender/switch that was in the combo block (see photo) that no one mentions about relocating.  I believe it is the low oil pressure alarm switch….I plan to install it in another 10mm engine block port to the left of the one for the pressure sensor…but I want to be sure this acceptable.  I don’t see any other good place to install it and it appears to be a critical component.  Does anyone have any history moving this switch and will it be ok in the block port?  Thank you for any input.

Yep, that is exactly where I am planning to install the switches…I did have to get some more 10MM to 1/8NPT adapters like the ones that came with the kit so I should be good to go…..fingers crossed.

    Where to relocate

Check these locations out. I don’t fully recall though, I may have used metric to npt adapters.
