Hello.
I have QSB 5.9 circa 2005 engines. Need to replace an alternator. Looks like the 19SI is correct but not sure if the 105 amp or 145 amp is appropriate. Can’t get to motors now due to shrink wrap. Thanks in advance for your input. BTW Replacing an alternator due to an occasional intermittent metallic rubbing sound.

Factory would have been a 105A unit.. No need to upgrade unless you need more power due to high DC house loads ..
