QSM-11 Port Engine RPM’s like WOT at start-up

QSM11’s with Glendenning EC’s. At start-up  Starboard engine normal idle @600 RPM’S. Port engine RPM”s outa control, sounded like it was at WOT. Shut it down, checked throttle positions at both stations. Cranked engine again, same result. Rebooted engine power and EC controls, individually disconnected bridge and tower controls. Each start-up same results. No more tries after that. Any ideas….

Yes, a combination of corrosion and broken wire in throttle cable connector .
