      August 24, 2017 at 8:09 am Hello! New member here as well, and the article on the site about Boost, EGT, and Horsepower resonated with me. Did I run into this? Boat is new to me. Saturday out with my son, light load, excellent weather for a summer day. Boat ran fine at 2,000 rpm. Next day, loaded down, hotter day, humid. Running at 1,800 and both engines suddenly went down to 1500-1600 rpm. Black smoke. Would not recover. Scared me to say the least! Engines instal…

      September 6, 2017 at 10:51 am That turbo has been eating salt water for some time… Phillips notes are 100% spot on. It’s not a PART issue, it’s a DESIGN issue.
