Hello, New here to the forum and to a new to me Cummins Engine. I need to change the coolant on my boat. I have two cummins engines 6bta5.9. For the life of me I can not figure out where to drain the coolant. If someone could post a pic or give me a site that can show me directly where I would so so appreciate it.

Thank you JDragon and Rob. Between the image and “below the Heat exchanger” I feel good about

    finding it today. Thanks again.

1/8″npt plug in pipe under the heat exchanger.  Getting something under there can be tricky.  For me for port engine I cut the bottom off a soda bottle and made a gutter/funnel.  Remember at rest this is basically a closed system so the cap on the engine expansion tank is your friend, use it as a “flow control”.  Figure about 6 gallons per engine.
