    Can anyone help me with what sensor this is?  Its temp related, Could it be the Coolant Temp Alarm?  If so, I have not been able to locate a replacement on this site.

    Thanks Rob – I ordered one, but it was the wrong size.  I will put it to ground and confirm that the alarm sounds.  My temp Guages still read with the wire disconnected, so…..

    What ever you have going on in the picture IS NOT factory–It looks like it is a temp switch located on the exhaust manifold return line to the coolant pump inlet

    A further back pic would be better but from what I see yes coolant and yes could be an alarm switch.  Put it to ground and see if the alarm circuit is triggered.  A selection of coolant switches are in the store here.
