I have a pair of 6BTA5.9-M2’s CPL 1928 in my 1997, 4788 Bayliner. Both engines were manufactured in 1996. Port engine has 1950 hrs and Starboard engine has 2010 hrs on it.
I am looking for a data sheet for this CPL and have had no luck (check Boat Diesel and Cummins Website).
I would also like to find data on Turbo and EGT curves.
    Thanks for the help

    Engine Data & SN's

Thanks Tony. Here is a spread sheet I keep for engine data. I am trying to operate for the best longevity and efficiency. These are the latest numbers as i have not done much cruising since bringing out of winter storage.
    Thanks

Are you monitoring boost and EGT now? If so, post some numbers.

    6BTA 5.9 CPL 1928

Not sure if a curve was ever published in digital format.. Let’s assume it wasn’t…………………… So with that said, tell me what EXACTLY you are trying to figure out…I know this CPL like no other as to what it can do, and especially what it cannot do..

    Post serial numbers…………….

Fill me in on your concerns.. Be precise..
