Hi, everybody! Still trying to solve my hesitation at 1600 rpm on my 450 cummins marine diesel – port engine only. Followed Tonys advice and checked
throttle linkage stop, lubricated same, plunger works to full stop when engine on, checked turbo blades – fine, no damage, shaft has minor lateral play – blades turn freely with no sight of damage – cold side only. However, hesitation still persists. Told to measure turbo pressure for possible leaks – anyone knows how and where to get gauge and how to attach same?

    Thank you for your advice/help.

    Maybe a Lazy Aneroid ??

Best to keep this with your other post..

    Read this:

Aneroid Adjustment on the Bosch P7100 Injection Pump

If you have really done all the rest and you DO NOT HAVE any black smoke during the “slow to respond period”, then this is your next step.. Or, just rig up a 20PSI testing system and put that to the aneroid..

If you are not “hands-on”, then you will need some on the boat help..
