I’m in the process of buying a 1999 Riv. 43 with Cummins 450 Diamonds. The engine oil samples came back with some soot but OK. Starboard transmission was fine. Ports transmission, which was rebuilt a couple years ago came back to dark to read. It was flushed, ran for a few hours and retested. This time it came back yellow but my mechanic thinks the tray is good. Just looking for some additional thoughts and reassurance on this or is there a possible major issue? Thanks!
