Tinny sound from front area of 6bta 5.9

Hello

Some months back I started hearing a “tinny type” sounding noise coming from the front of my 6bta 5.9, although I can say for certain, the sound seems to be coming from the port side. <br /> A couple of years ago, I replaced the idler pulley with the Seaboard upgraded version as well as the belt tensioner and the belt.  

Any ideas? <br /><br />

I have an iPhone recording but unfortunately it is 24 mb and I cannot attach it to this entry

Remove the belt guard for sure.. If that does not allow you to ID the sound, remove the serpentine belt and run the engine for a  30 seconds or so.

Sound still there?
