I have been experiencing on cold start up only, my oil pressure readings being inaccurate with variances of 30psi from one motor to the next. Oil level and engine performance are optimal and give no indication of fault or any type of failure internally. The only way to resolve this issue is to run it up to higher load, wait for the alarm to go off then cycle the ignitions and both gauges read correctly for the rest of the day regardless if restarted. I am getting an error code 415-low oil pressure but the code doesn’t store after the key cycle is completed. I have had both oil pressure sending units replaced over the last 2 seasons and this issue started on first use of season. I have to guess and hope that this is an electronic and not mechanical concern as I have put almost 40 hours on since it began without any performance or other gauge concerns. Any directions for me to look at would be helpful. Thanks.
    Mike

    Thank you

Tony, thanks for the response and your input. Would you believe that the gauges read correctly yesterday eve when I took the boat out for the first time all season? I would still like to take a mechanical gauge to compare the readings but have to believe that it is not the motor(s) but the “Smartcrap” readings.

I would absolutely confirm the correct oil pressure with a mechanical gauge. Assuming all is good you might try removing all power to the engine and reboot. After that itā€™s probably Smartcraft being not so smart
