    We have a new 2022 QSL9 (long story) and replaced the old (2005) harness with the new one complete with control box in ER and a nice connection to NMEA. 

    We understand the Cummins harness supports an Exhaust riser Temperature sensor and would like to pursue that. 

    Which sensor ? Install it and plug it right in?

    What you are asking will require a  true guru  for this,  and a few hours of  one-on-one ————–You have two  totally  different systems/ECMs/protocols…. Output of the systems  of them are Mercury SmatCrap (early QSL) vs. the new Cummins Command,  but parent output of each as SAE J-1939…. I am not the guy to do this.
