Hi guys. Just a quick check. I am going to remove my sea water pump from my stbd engine. I was wondering about the gear box where the pump is connected. Will there be any fluid surprises for me when I do this other than some residual water in the tubes? Any advice or words of wisdom to offer before I begin would be appreciated? 🙂

    Thanks.

Ha ha…..Everything looks scary to me man. My first boat. But, yes it looks easy. I have some Metal Lube left from the core maintenance. I put that stuff on everything! Thank you for taking the time.

    Nothing scary

Use common grease on all before re-installing (o-rings, gaskets, all surfaces, bolts etc)
