    Hey all, does anyone (including sbmar) make a oil filter relocation kit for a qsc8.3?   The location of mine is brutal.   Thanks!

    Google “remote oil filter head LF9009 Cummins” or “Fleetguard remote oil filter head” or something like that and then you can mount it anywhere and just get the hoses made.

    I know a picture is worth 1000 words.  I can try to get a picture but it may not explain the story.  In order to access that side of the engine, I have to climb through a small bulkhead and then down that side of the boat.  I know I can get in, I just can’t get back out…. Plus where it is located now is behind the raw water strainer and on the opposite side of the stringer which means you cannot pre-fill it.  Portside access however is fantastic.  I will get a photo this weekend, or attempt to.
