Oil Amount for 6BT Envirovent S&B Filters

I have the 6BT Envirovent from SBMAR and according to the S&B Air Filter Cleaning & Oil Kit instructions, they are very particular about the amount of oil to use.  But since these are custom filters for SBMAR, they do not appear in the S&B product listing, which specifies the correct grams of oil to be applied after cleaning.  Even though the SBMAR site specifies one filter as 7″x5″ and the other 3″, but there is nothing on the S&B site that provides oil amount by filter area (e.g., 35 square inches).  Can somebody help e out here?  Might be good to add this detail in the product description too…just a suggestion.

If new and the filter is purple, ( or blue) no oil is needed. .. They are pre-oiled 

If you washed it and it is dry and grey-ish — maybe an ounce of so , drop by drop  on the outer pleats.  Needs to soak in and spread out  over a few hours.. Nothing on u-tube?  K&N?
