This one is bit baffling.  Cummins QSB 6.7, 2 years old, about 125 hours on it.  Had a battery bank go bad, so the voltage to this engine dropped below 10 volts.  I pressed the parallel button and got the motor going.  Alternator seems fine as it shows 13+ volts when running.  I changed out the bad battery bank, and the motor starts fine, but the hour meter on that motor shows 1125 instead of 125.  Any thoughts?

    Thanks in advance.

The problem seemed to correct itself.  After a week or so I fired up the ignitions and the display showed the correct hours.

Thanks Tony.  This is a 2017 Sea Ray Mercruiser setup with Smartcraft Vesselview display.  I’m not familiar with a “full reset” in this context.  Where should I start?

    Thanks again,

    Scott

Depending on the exact electronic  version and instruments you have,  you need to start with doing a “full reset”
