I have a pair of 2002 6CTA 8.3 M3 Diamond engines (non electronic). The low voltage warning light and buzzer is going off on the port engine and sure enough, the gauge on the dash panel shows only10 volts while at cruise. My problem is that the port alternator is actually putting out 14.5 volts at the alternator. Incidentally, both upper and lower helm stations show the same reading. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you ..!

Sure enough, I had a loose connection at the 10 10 amp circuit breaker. Cleaned it up, reconnected and now working fine.

Iā€™m on a phone, no access to a PC at the moment, so canā€™t post a link, but do a search in these forums for engine mounted circuit breaker me as author. You may have a loose connection.
