    HI, guys, I am using a SMX  Low Pressure Alarm Panel & Gear Low Pressure Alarm Switch. The Engine Is A 1989  Cummins  6BT . 210 hp @2600 rpm. cpl# 0742. Can I tee it in  the oil pressure gauge sender. This is the only port available .   Thank You, Rocket JS.

    The 6BTA has three oil pressure ports. How many are in use already?  I suppose one for OP sender and one for the Low Oil Pressure switch. Leaves with one spare. It requires an adapter to make the proper thread though. Tranny normally has its own location somewhere on the tranny or tapped into a fitting so this is a separate issue. <br />T can be used if needed.
