The hour meter on my port 6BTA has quit working. I am assuming the little clock has died inside the tach. Before I go to the trouble of installing new meters for both engines, is there a way to test that the clock is getting the correct voltage and that it truly is the meter and not a loose wire somewhere. Of course I will do the new meters for both engines, like headlights on cars, when one fails assume the other is not far behind.

Not sure what you mean, do you want to open the tach and do a repair?
