Fuel line from tank to SMX double double filters

Currently I have a 3/8″ rubber fuel line from the fuel tanks to my racor fuel filter, I purchased the SMX Double Double fuel filter system, is the 3/8″ fuel line sufficient for the new fuel filters ? The engine is a 1989 6BT 210HP, Thanks in advance

SMX Double Double installed

SMX Double Double installed, all new fuel lines, removed the Racor, runs much better, runs up to full rated speed, Thank You for your advice, Great website.

Best to use 1/2″ ID from the tank to any filter system.. You do not want a clogging of debris–IE, get it out of the tank(s) to to the filters..
