Having to travel further and further these days and I’d like to be able to monitor my fuel usage.
Engine is a single 330B. Maretron offers a system with a monitor and 2 sensors, one for supply, one for return.
The sensors are available with 1/2 NPT or 3/4 NPT female input openings. Supply on the 330B is 5/8″ hose.
The question is do I need to use the sensor with the 3/4 NPT and bush that down to 5/8 or is the 1/2 NPT sufficient? The distance from filters to engine is about 6′ max.
Return line is 1/2″ so no issue there.
Install calls for the supply sensor to be put after the filters. Would this be after the dbl/dbl system or does that have to be after the on engine FF. Braided lines make that an issue.
Or is there another option? FloScan seems to be gone.
    Thanks
    Jim

1/2″ supply on the 330B is good and so is placing the sensor after the SMX DD but before the last chance.
