I’m seeing 2 recent issues that I think may be related.

    1. When I recently changed by engine fuel filter, fuel continued to drip out of the housing when the filter was removed.
    2. The engine has started to crank a long time (30-60 sec) before starting –   like it was having to build up fuel pressure.  This only happens on the first start of the day and I keep the oil pan heaters on all the time.  I also have dual racor filters and change them regularly when the vacuum goes up.

Could this be a bad or dirty check valve and if so, where is the check valve located?  Is there more than 1 check valve.

    Thanks for your help

Yes.  This morning with cold engines started squeaking after 5-10 pumps.  Thx for pic, any tips or videos on how to change it and prime the system?  Many thanks.

When you pump the lift pump hand primer do you get pressure and the squeak noise?
