I’m seeing 2 recent issues that I think may be related.
- When I recently changed by engine fuel filter, fuel continued to drip out of the housing when the filter was removed.
- The engine has started to crank a long time (30-60 sec) before starting – like it was having to build up fuel pressure. This only happens on the first start of the day and I keep the oil pan heaters on all the time. I also have dual racor filters and change them regularly when the vacuum goes up.
Could this be a bad or dirty check valve and if so, where is the check valve located? Is there more than 1 check valve.
Thanks for your help
