Asking for direction on how to install external audible alarms for my QSM11s and recently installed SMX gauges.
Questions : can the alarms be utilized on from the abandoned wiring harness that was connected to my old vessel view gauges?
PIN 3 on connector A (Grey connector) will close to BAT NEG (Ground) when the system declares a fault.
I am trying to drive an external buzzer / lamp when the SMX gauges display a fault from the engine. Thank you!
To be clear, are you trying to drive an external buzzer / lamp when the SMX gauges display a fault from the engine? Or are you dealing with external analog alarms?
