So I’m getting ready to pull the boat for the year and I went out for one last run to get my wot numbers. On my formula 41pc with 6cta 8.3 450 diamonds my throttle clicks every advance. So click by click I move up in rpm . I get to 2570 and my motor instantly turns off. No power at ignition. I pull into a slip and I popped a 10 amp fuse in the motor harness in the bilge. The wire was orange. Y would this Happen. I replaced with another 10amp fuse and continued on my way with no issues.

It is the inside that counts. That does not look like paint in the socket.

Does not look “factory”–Maybe a boat builder thing?– Is that white stuff “corrosion” ? Hopefully it’s white grease.. If corrosion there is your issue.. A poor connection
