    5.9 BTA 3 wire alternator.

I want to make sure I have this right before I put it all back together in a slightly different arrangement.  Alternator was not charging and is off a the shop as I type this.

In order to simplify things I want the this alternator to just direct its output to the house bank of batteries. If I understand this correctly I need to take the #2 sensing terminal and tie it to the output terminal. The #1 terminal can remain in use or it can be disconnected.

I have the means to connect house and start banks but for my use that is just a built in set of jumper cables for when something has gone haywire.

    Thanks In Advance
