My port engine surges a from 600-630rpms sometimes when i come off a cruise.
It doesn’t happen everytime, maybe 20%-30% of the time. It will go away after idling for a few minutes. It seems to go away in gear. Nothing else seams to have changed regarding fuel usage, engine temps, etc. I think I have clean fuel as I Use lubricator, Bio Kleen and Diesel clean at each fill up and fuel filters were changed at the beginning of the season and filter bowls look clean. What else can i check?

Basically nothing unless you want to start changing some components on the engine —Fuel actuator, position sensors, fuel pressure regulator, etc)..It may even come down to re-programming the ECM back to the latest version for your CPL/ engine HP rating.. ………….Personally, I’d learn to live with this very small glitch. 30 RPM??
