Good evening, in the meantime, thanks for the very important suggestions. I noticed that there was a lot of mud inside the compensation tanks. The liquid that came out was pretty clean but I would prefer to do a general cleaning of the system. I was told that it is very important to finally purge the system of air. Can you tell me which valve I need to open to vent the system? I read in the manual that it is important to start the engine with the cap open to let the air out but that it is recommended to bleed the system but I do not understand from where. Thanks

Here’s a better diagram. Petcock is forward of the bottom of the oil filter and aft and below the alternator. When I drain my QSC I just pull the black rubber coolant hose from above and drain it into pails, replacing the hose as pails fill and get swapped out. Off the top of my head be prepared for about 8 gallons.

As Tony said, oil filter/HX side of the engine. Look below and aft of the alternator for the coolant petcock drain.

Post a clear and in-focus piture from about 2 ft away of the oil fiter side of your engine that also shows the the oil cooler just to the right of it.. Get the camera down low enough to show the lower part of all.. There is a drain there but I do not have a good picture of it.
