BTA 5.9 secondary fuel filter recommendation

91 Ocean Alexander 440 Sundeck with twin cummins BTA 5.9M engines. Boat is equipped with Racor primary fuel filter/water separator system fitted with 10 micron filters. Engine mounted secondary filters are the Fleetguard 42000. Reviewing the specs here they appear to be a multi stage filter {1st Pass / 2nd Pass: 20 mic / 10 mic}.

Is this the best filter combination for my application?

Should I go with a larger micron rating {say 30} in the primary and then perhaps a Donaldson P550943  {9 micron} spin on secondary or stick with the Fleetguard.
