After reviewing the article posted. I was wondering how the outlet in the cap of the heat exchange is attached to the actual cap is it threaded in or some sort of sealant? Looks almost like jb welded.

I have my fitting installed on the cap of the heat exchanger and noticed that it looks like its going to be int he way of the riser.

    1) Can I have it fed from the front of the heat exchanger?

    2) If the answer to #1 is no where is another location that I can greab water supply from? Can I add a fitting to the smx pump to feed my dripless?

95-5 (or current equal for copper plumbing) solder–Sloppy tap first, all super clean both sides around the hole, good plumbing flux for copper pipe, and the solder flows thru and does both sides and makes a nice fillet–super simple
