    I have a 6CTA8.3 450 on a 2001 Sea Ray 460DA.

I was out cruising and within 15 minutes my Sea Ray Systems Monitor alarm goes off saying Low Oil Pressure on my port engine. At idle port was reading 35 PSI and cruising 55 PSI based on my mechanical gauges on the engine and the gauges on my dash… engine temperature same on both engines 160-170 degrees. Turned engine on and off a couple of times and alarm would not stop, but again the PSI and temp read the same. I feel better maybe it is a faulty sensor or electrical issue?

Then about 5 minutes later my Aqualarm Exhaust Temp alarm goes off also on my port engine. Again, temperature same as starboard engine both between 160-170 degrees. Though my gauges all read well since this was also port engine I am now worried. Thoughts? Below is a pic of the Aqualarm for reference. Does the green on just mean it has power and the alarm was just the prior mentioned oil pressure issue? I did not have a green light on for the starboard exhaust temp alarm could that then mean that one doesn’t have power?

Interested in hearing how these aqua alarms are hooked up to the engines, where and what they will sense.
I would like to add to my 6CTA as well.

The alarm was not coming from EGT Aqualarm they were quiet the alarm is the sea ray systems alarm that keeps reading low oil pressure still a week later.

I included pics of the Aqualarm back as you asked just in case but again those were not the alarm it was the systems alarm again tonight the oil pressure was same as before…

How ’bout this………Put my eyes in your engine room as if I was there crawling around trying to do a survey..

Between myself and few other very sharp guys here, good pics of all will tell a story of what what 18+ years of Marine Age can do..

Tony will do. Do you want pics of anything else at the sensor on the exhaust? Any pics related to the low oil presssure?

You have 18+ years of Marine Age on the vessel.. The mechanical Murphy Gauges are showing their age externally but typically are “dead nuts”, so I tend to trust them..

However with that said, let me ‘SEE” the backs of the aqua alarm panels and the senders that are attached to……Stay back 1-3 ft so so I can the general condition of what’s around them..
