My Cummins 6BT 5,9 210hp creates air an overflow of cooling water system if RPM is above 1900.

Any proposal what the reason is?

Below 1900RPM no air is seen and engine have 450hours since total overhaul.

The water-cooled exhaust manifold is renewed but still the problem occurs

I occurred some 400h after overhaul, and the reason for overhaul was just to have everything in good order.

I suspect the china cooling water pump, because I have tested the atmosphere in the header tank with test kit and there was no sign of exhaust gases.

I’m not following you as to an “overflow of cooling water”

    Do you mean engine coolant?

And has this been happening ever since the overhaul 450 hours ago?

What was the total overhaul and why was it needed?
