    hello all,

I am looking to find out what sensor this is in the pics attached. there are two both i think are temp, one is for gauge and other for alarm? not sure,

    1998 bayliner 3988 6bta-m3 330hp 967hours
my stbd motor has high temp reading on the lower helm, upper has nothing. replacements do not loo the same, its a single wire sensor and would like to replace it.

    please advise.

Cummins OEM is only one sending unit for the engine coolant temperature and it is the circuit board at the helm that triggers the alarm, not a dedicated sending unit or switch at the engine. BUT… Bayliner did it all their own way, best to communicate direct with Bayliner owners who are in the know as to sorting out some of this builder specific stuff.

Why did you post the picture of the fuel return line? Is there another question here?
