1000 Hrs service QSB 6.7

IMO, your engine is really not engine hour sensitive other than for oil & filter changes.. Valves are 2000 hrs + plus ( unless something has changed)  and coolant is about the same…

 

What is TIME sensitive is the entire seawater  side of your engine, especially the aftercooler…………………….How long has your engine been operating in saltwater?  Months & years ???

 

Front belts on the engine–You have two–both non-adjustable “stretchy” type–do you carry spares? Learn how to change them BEFORE  you have to–That would be time well spent

 

Got some good pics to share as to how you ae keeping it “marine age wise”–  What HP rating do you have?
