Maintenance Procedures at 75 Hours or 3 Months
- Air Cleaner Restriction – Check
- Battery – Check
- Component Connector and Pin – Inspect
- Engine Hoses – Check
- Sea Water Hoses – Check
- Zinc Anode – Inspect3
Maintenance Procedures at 300 Hours or 1 Year
- Aftercooler – Flush
- Air Cleaner Element – Change
- Air Intake Piping – Inspect
- Coolant Filter – Change
- Engine Coolant Heater – Check
- Engine Harness – Check
- Fuel Filter (Spin-On Type) – Change
- Fuel Water Separator Element – Replace
- Lubricating Oil and Filters – Change2
- Marine Gear Oil – Check1
- Marine Gear Oil Cooler – Flush1
- Radiator Pressure Cap – Check
- Sea Water Heat Exchanger – Flush
- Sea Water Pump – Inspect
- Supplemental Coolant Additive (SCA) – and Antifreeze – Check2
Maintenance Procedures at 600 Hours or 2 Years
- Cooling Fan Belt Tensioner – Check
- Cooling System – Flush4
- Overhead Set – Adjust
- Vibration Damper, Rubber – Inspect for Reuse
- Vibration Damper, Viscous – Inspect for Reuse
- Consult the marine gear manufacturer operator’s manual for specifications and recommendations.
- Depending upon the quality of electrical bonding and water conditions, increased maintenance is sometimes necessary.
- This cooling system requirement to Flush at this scheduled maintenance includes Drain, Flush, and Fill.
