Description

The exhaust valve seat material has been changed on all 6C8.3 (mechanical 2-Valve) cylinder heads. The part number for the cylinder head used in the Marine applications has been changed. Cylinder heads in all other applications will incorporate the exhaust valve seat material change; however, the cylinder head part numbers will not change.

The new Marine cylinder head Part Number is 4942463 and will supersede Marine cylinder head Part Number 3936178.
