INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
First use the chart below to determine how much wrap you need to order.
Use a string or flexible tape to measure the length. Measure along the outside of the bends.
Usually the 18ft roll of End Tape is plenty for risers up to 4 feet in length.
The example below (Last Pic) was just over 3 feet long, 4.5″ O.D. (4″pipe) and used 46 feet of wrap and 12 feet of END TAPE
In the example below we apply the silicone wrap directly to the riser, which we have found just enough for most low to mid HP applications or for people who don’t run hard. The wrap may feel a bit hot when running hard, if you do run hard or If you have higher HP you may want to add a layer of traditional lagging first or double up on any areas where you feel you might need some extra insulation, any sections close to wood or people for instance.

HOW TO APPLY THE WRAP
Begin wrapping by completing one full circle around the pipe, usually starting on the flange side of the exhaust.
Then begin wrapping overlapping about 1″ (Below)
Continue to wrap the exhaust tightly overlapping about 1″ or about half of the width of the tape.
When you get to a curve increase the overlap on the inside of the curve.
When you get to the end keep the wrap tight and use the end seal tape to seal up the end.
For extra security you can seal up both ends, keep the end seal tape on the wrap only, protected by the fiberglass insulation.
Notice the edge of the fiberglass layer is visible on both ends.
