    Thank you for the advice gentlemen. As it turns out, in addition to the fuel shutoff solenoid shorting out, the mag relay directly forward of the starter mag relay fried as well. A guy that ties up next to me had spares of both he gave me and after installation (including Tony’s FSS ground advice), everything works fine.
