December 26, 2019 at 6:49 am Is there a 1000 hr service required for a QSB 6.7 480 HP 2013? I can only find a 2000 hr service in the owners manual. Thanks.

December 26, 2019 at 9:06 am Focus on the 52,000 plus hours of Marine Age, not the engine runnings hours at this stage. Complete seawater side servicing (not a descaler flush), engine coolant, and exterior appearances (paint touch-ups, corrosion protection, etc) wiring/harness connections point cleaning/lubing…..

I would say you need to be reasonably mechanical, not that its exceedingly hard to install a trolling valve, but if you cross thread the sending unit, or strip a bolt that holds the assembly to the gear, or anything like that it could be a costly or at least a t…

July 9, 2018 at 11:42 am Getting oil out of breather. 6BTA 330. Replaced turbo. Still getting oil. Ran another vent line. No oil. So it looks like the breather tube is plugged somewhere. Any ideas of how to clean the tube? Anything in the crankcase?
