Tony – Yes, the boat easily hitting 3090 to 3100 on fresh tuned props. The boat pops up on plane easily and runs great. Little to no smoke getting on plane and nothing while running.

Here’s the best picture I have. Not a lot of room between the motors to get any better of pictures.

Thanks Tony. I pulled the cable and pushed by hand and it goes to 3062. I just don’t understand how I can lose 100 over layup.
The spring moved pretty easily when I pushed by hand. I will lubricate it as you mentioned.
Is adjusting the throttle stop something I should mess with?

I have atne digital rpm gauges so I believe they are acurate.
Just tested the no load WOT and here’s the results
Port 3354
Starboard 3257So I’m approximately 100 short on starboard. How do I fiquire out what do next. Is there an adjustment on the throttle at the injector? Have Something to do with the throttle cable or even something in the controls at the helm?
Also is there any coralation with the low idle rpms and not hitting the max

Jeff,
Thanks for the response. I’m going to the boat tomorrow to check the no load WOT. How did figure out the that you where not getting full travel on the throttle? Is there a bolt adjustment or did you push it full by hand. How did you correct it. Rich.May 30, 2018 at 11:05 am #32914

The props were just tuned and installed. They were measured before and after tuning and they are the same as the previus tunings. I was present when the props were installed by the marine and they did not block the prop. They use a wrench on the shafts.
Any idea were to look next.

I’m confused by the gauge also. I squeezed the primer bulb, it wasn’t stiff and more fuel filled the gauge and squirted out the rubber vent on the top of the gauge. Do you think it’s possible air is getting sucked in the line through the gauge vent. I’m ordering a new one day but trying to figure out all possibilities of why the motor won’t fire over.

Rob thanks for the response. The motors are 2009 370B’s and have about 1100 hours. The coolers were last serviced about 400 hours ago (3-4 years). They were serviced by a very knowledgeable previous owner. Motors are used in salt water and I do not have a fresh water flush. Attached are a few pictures of the starboard core. This one has one small area of pitting do you think this should be filled also.
If I get the areas brazed will I need to get them machined or can the areas be sanded smooth.

Tony, the boat (31 Blackfin) was repowered in 2009 by your friend Bill D. I purchased the boat from Bill in 2014. I will check my computer for some photos tomorrow. They have about 1100 hours on them.

Rob thanks for the quick response. My motors came from Tony and are equipped with the Enviro system. Is the leaking possibly from a dirty air intake filter? Or a dirty breather filter. Can the breather be cleaned or do I just replace it. Also what’s the best way to clean the turbo.
Also, I just pulled my aftercoolers off for cleaning and the air side was clean.
