August 28, 2023 at 4:04 am Hi,   I’ve got a low oil pressure problem on one of my 450s, After a run at cruise and slowing down to idle, alarm will sound, on port engine. I disconected the Cummins panel alarm a few years ago, as it was always alarming, even with 20PSI at idle. I just use a stand alone 10 psi switch, on the back up Aqua alarm panel. Engines have 7,000 hours on them and have been serviced regularly, their whole lives. Anyone have any ideas?  …

September 4, 2023 at 6:39 am Thanks Tony. I was fishing and there is no worse way to end a day, than having the oil pressure alarm ghosting, when you come back to idle! I’ll try bumping up the idle a bit and see if the shifts are still smooth. Thanks, Cam

January 12, 2023 at 10:08 am Hi looking for instructions or a video on how to overhaul the SMX pumps on my 450CTAs. I’ve got the kits and want to get them overhauled, as I’ve got 7,000 trouble free hours on them. They’ve earned some TLC! thanks   Cam

October 9, 2021 at 3:39 am Hi, I have blown the head gasket on my 450 and am about to dive into removing the head, etc. I found the link under Tony’s tips for the head torque procedure and it lists the values for 26 bolts. The diagram shows 32 bolts. What is the procedure/torque values for the remaining 6 bolts? Thanks, Cam
