Thanks Tony, I need to relocate it to another cylinder, my engines are in the saloon and number 1 cylinder has a lounge just above it, it would make it easier if was on #3 or #4 as the funnel would clear the lounge base and less likely to fall over allowing oil to spill and end up in my alternator (again) , cheers Ian, Australia

Hi Corey, this is the part #8 which is a cummins part number 555538 it connects the expansion tank to the thermostat housing, I can not buy this part in Australia. I need to know the internal diameter of the pipe, or the external diameter of the thermostat housing so I can buy a length of pipe and cut it to size. I have found a description of the thermostat housing that says is a 45mm diameter, but it would be nice if someone could confirm this, thank you very much

Thanks Tony, It appears to be leaking from the nut with the yellow paint on it, at 2000rpm there is 1 drip every 21 seconds. am I able to tighten that nut will the yellow strip on without screwing up any pump settings?

    cheers Ian

Thanks for your reply, Could I remove the pipe and replace it with hoses to the water heater? Red to the in side of the heater and Blue to out return side of the heater? cheers Ian
